I encourage you to call me first for your laptop to be repaired rather than repairing it yourself. There is more than one solution to most symptoms (ie: Blank screen - Bad bulb, bad screen, bad motherboard, bad inverter).
I perform repairs down to component level. If a part cannot be repaired, we may use a new part or a pull from a unit I purchased as a "salvage unit", in order to save you money.

Replace Display - $115.00 labor + display ($250 - $500)
Broken Modem or LAN Jack - $115.00 + parts if necessary
Broken Power Jack - $112.50 + parts if necessary
Replace Keyboard - $75 + keyboard ($50 - $70)
Defective Power Supply - $112.50 + parts if necessary
Display Module - $112.50 + parts parts if necessary
Replace Motherboard - $150 + Mother board ($250-$450)
Replace Hard Drive - $75 + Hard Drive
($99 for a 10 GB, $129 for a 20 GB) 
$39 Diagnostic Fee/Minimum* (No diagnostic fee with work billed) Depending on the availability of parts and the type of repair, 4 to 9 business days are required (Rush service is available for an additional $50). Backing up files and Installing Operating System billed at $60 per hour.
